Quality means life to Chint.Therefore, Chint has established the first Thermal-electrical lab among all non-state owned enterprises in China and was also the first firm receiving a production license issued by the Ministry of Machine Building Industry of China. Later on it has, among first ones, passed certifications of ISO9001and ISO14001 as well as some other national certificates. Apart from these, some of Chint`s products have been certified by foreign standard organizations such as CB, UL, FI, CEBEC, KEMA, VDE etc. Many Chint`s products have been awarded as new and hi-tech products or famous brand products by relative departments and organizations of all levels in China. Chint keeps a professional team consisting of several hundred quality control engineers for physical-chemical analysis with sophisticated equipment in addition to test centers and labs. May of every year is set as "the month of quality" by the head-office of Chint. Chint always insists: "We would rather spend millions of dollars more to prevent even one single piece of unqualified product out of our workshop". That is why its products have been well sold to more than 30 countries and regions in the world. Additionally, many Chint`s products have been awarded as "Inspection-free" products by quality supervision authorities of over 20 provinces and municipalities in China. Chint has participated several national key projects including Yangzi River Three Gorge Hydro-Power Project, Shanxi Yangcheng Power Plant (the largest power plant in Asia), Shengli Oil Field and CCTV relay center etc. As a result, Chint has been listed as a qualified supplier for "National Urban and Rural Power Network Rehabilitation Project". In Dec. 1999, the trade mark of CHINT has been nominated as a "National Famous Brand" by China State Administration of Industry and Commerce.
