The company, a joint venture between the Sittipol 1919 Co., Ltd. and Daido Kogyo Co., Ltd., Japan, was set-up with the aim to manufacture motocycle chains of international standards for the local market, as imports of these products were causing considerable amount of foreign exchange outflows, adversely affecting the country's balance of trade. With leading-edge technilogy and years of expertise from its Japanese counterpart complemented by a talented pool of local resources, Daido Sittipol Co., Ltd. is today one of the leading manufacturers of motorcycle chains in this industry,with its D.I.D trademark renowned locally and abroad for quality and reliability. January 19, 2000, the company was accredited ISO 9002 quality managementsystem compliance and February 2, 2002 wasaccredited ISO 14001, from RWTuV, theinternationally recognized accredit ationorganization.
